Ratsalotta Rats was born in 2018.

After many years of raising small animals, I found out that I preferred rats as pets.  Hamsters would always bite, mice were too nervous, but rats, they felt like little people. I had many pet rats in the past, taking in rescues and hand-raising "feeder babies".  The personalities and health of my rats throughout my years vastly differed; I could never get a good in-between of healthy and loving.

I decided to try breeding my own rats.  I studied genetics and did temperament training, trying to create the ideal rat.  I've adopted a lot of new practices, knowledge, and ... rats!   I am working with different lines, focusing mainly on health and temperament, but trying to work on popular, luxury coat colors.  I guarantee that any rat you get from me, will be well socialized and fit perfectly in your family!
